Dear 14U Player Families,

As our spring season begins to wind down, we want to provide you with important information regarding the next steps in your player’s baseball journey—specifically through the ABA High School College Prep Program.

What’s Next?

Soon, your players will be trying out for both their high school teams and the ABA High School Program. To support their development during this transition, we are excited to share our upcoming summer and fall opportunities.

Summer Bridge Programs

This summer, we will continue our Summer Bridge PowerHitting/PowerArm and PowerStrength Programs. These are designed to help athletes maintain and develop their skill sets throughout the summer in preparation for the ABA High School Fall Classic & Showcase Teams, which directly feed into our College Prep Program.

• Players will train directly with our high school coaching staff. 
• These programs are key for offseason development and player evaluations.

Fall Classic & Showcase Teams

The ABA High School Fall Classic & Showcase Team Tryout will be held in early August. Our goal is to field three (3) teams per high school age division.

Players selected will commit to a five-month season (August–December), which includes:

• Fall training sessions 
• Showcase tournaments
  
  (All fees and full details will be included in the team invitation.)

Following the Fall season, we will host a November tryout for our 2026 Summer Teams.

New! Class of 2029 Summer Prospect Teams

In response to the evolving college recruiting landscape, we are adapting our Mid-School program to build a stronger foundation earlier in the process.

For this Summer, we are forming Class of 2029 Summer Prospect Teams, each with a 14-player roster.

• These teams will compete in 4–5 tournaments from late May through mid-July. 
• A separate budget and cost structure will apply (to be provided at tryouts).

Tryout Details:

• Date: Saturday, May 3rd 
• Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM 
• Location: ABA Facility

Why ABA?

The college recruiting landscape has changed rapidly, and ABA has adapted just as quickly. In 2024 alone, we helped 40 players commit to college programs, and already have 20 commitments among our 2025 and 2026 teams—with more on the way.
